At the moment the main ministers for all the large countries in the world are meeting together to discuss some of the world’s problems including the economic problems all of the countries are having at the moment. I never knew that a wedding could be so stressful for a bridesmaid! I am being one in a few months time and not only have I been asked to write and make a speech but I also have to organise the hen party, pre wedding beauty treatments and help with the dress shopping. I also have to look after the 5 young bridesmaids on the day (as well as my two sons) and make sure all of the guests are happy!

I ask this because i just watched a TV show .. that shocked me .. people think they are better for being lighter skin .. and it starts when their kids .. i think parents influence them the most .. it’s shallow and i’m sure a way to makethemselves feel above others .. so it’s a selfesteem thing .. but this can scar the other person .. i am white while my sister is a bit brown .. and she always says how she feels when people keep thinking she’s from another mother or not even my sister .. it’s sad to think people will judge you and treat you for how you look .. and that looks are what help people treat you well

In general, it should make anyone living in today’s day and age really disgusted. I teach Elementary school where we remind students every year about the teaching and life of Dr Martin Luther King. Perhaps an election of Obama will help some in the shift of society away from judging people from their outsides rather than the “content of their character” as Kiing suggested.

i hate racism. im european so generally nobody says anything. but i tell ya what, racism is my number one hate. i used to have a best friend who was burmese, very dark and the comments she used to get. oh my god it makes me so angry to even think about it. how DARE one race think they are better than another because of different cultural ways and a COLOUR. i dont understand how a person can treat another race so terribly.. after all they ARE another living human . grrr its making me too angry
